International Programs Group (IPG) is an independent third-party administration (TPA) team providing claims services for Lloyd's of London syndicates, domestic insurers, self-insured entities, and organizations with high financial retentions.
We have an existing opportunity to add a Property Claims Examiner to our team!
The successful candidates will be part of a dynamic team that provides quality service to internal and external clients. They will display excellent customer service skills and will be a key contributor to the success of the organization by providing knowledgeable, detailed and timely service. Utilizing a ‘desktop’ model, IPG examiners manage claims from start to finish. This hands-on approach ensures that the claim is handled properly and also helps offset third-party adjusting costs.
Role Responsibilities:
Examine moderate to intermediate complex property claims
Produce reports with occasional guidance from Manager
Direct Field Adjusters on task assignment investigations
Settle claims directly with Insureds or their representatives
Administer claims payments/settlements through trust accounts
Liaise with all stakeholders to insure clients needs are met
Report back to the syndicate or self-insured according to their guidelines
Qualifications & Experience:
While licensing and experience are critical to being able to handle significant examining tasks for a TPA, we are looking for individuals with a demonstrated and proven track record of performance. You will have to be strong technically, a solid planner and organizer, and understand key issues plus provide solid solutions. You will have to be motivated to do this type of work and be excited by the challenges that a rapidly growing organization faces.

Your education, with relevant post-secondary education being an asset
Your completed CIP courses, or working towards CIP designation
Your ability to hold an independent adjusting license
Your 3-7 years' experience delivering relevant claims adjusting and/or examining work

We have an existing opportunity to add an Account Coordinator to our team! We are currently looking to fill this position in either our New Westminster, Toronto or Montreal office. This is a Hybrid position.
Working within a team environment, the Account Coordinator will be responsible for the account management relating to assigned key Insurer clients.
Salary range for this position is: $52,200 to $72,500 annually.
Responsibilities:
Review and prepare financial reports, measuring against client (contractual) expectations and ensure smooth delivery to clients each month. Manage and maintain accounts funded in trust on clients behalf. Reconciliation of financial transactions across various client management systems Oversee internal file protocol reviews in conjunction with IPG procedures. Qualifications & Experience:
2-5 years’ experience in senior admin role multi-tasking and working with external clients Knowledge and experience in Insurer and Lloyd’s practices Proficiency in Excel Knowledge of third-party vendor systems used by Insurers Excellent communication skills - the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external associates either verbally or in writing. Job Responsibilities:
Initiate the investigation of new claims
Make liability/coverage decisions
Evaluate and negotiate settlements of collision, specified perils, and property damage, as appropriate.
Manage and oversee the work of outside adjusters, appraisers and experts.
Establish contact with the insured and claimant within established protocol.
Recognize coverage issues and bring them to the attention of the supervisor.
Develop basic understanding of liability and coverage principles.
Recognize state specific laws and claims regulations throughout the United States to insure proper compliance in claims investigation including sending and securing proper documentation.

Act as an examiner for various Lloyds accounts which involves providing prompt, fair, quality claims service to clients. Examine complex liability claims. Direct Field Adjusters on assignment investigations Settle claims directly with claimants or their representatives Administer claims payments/settlements through trust accounts Liaise with all stakeholders to ensure client's needs are met
Education, Knowledge and Experience Required:
College diploma or combination of education and equivalent business Candidate must be Licensed in the province of Quebec Minimum of 5 – 7 years of claims experience in handling of liability claims Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and French Experience dealing with Lloyds a clear advantage.

Individual must demonstrate the ability to direct adjusters of all levels and work effectively in a team environment Previously demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external associates, written and oral techniques A positive, “can do” attitude and customer service approach ensuring all inquiries are effectively dealt with in a timely manner Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills Demonstrated ability to be proactive in identifying and implementing solutions Proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced and demanding environment Exceptional computer skills. Ability to navigate various systems, proficient in MS Office and work in a paperless environment.
